Creandum continues to expand its investment team
2011-05-31STOCKHOLM - (May 31, 2011) - Creandum, the Nordic venture firm for early stage and expansion technology companies, recently announced the recruitment of Hjalmar Winbladh as Venture Partner and now continues to strengthen its team by adding Carl Fritjofsson to its roster list of investment professionals.

Creandum is the only active Swedish independent technology venture firm, and Carl will join the firm as an Associate, primarily being responsible of sourcing and analyzing new investment opportunities for the firm. Prior to Creandum, Carl was a media and consumer Internet entrepreneur bringing fresh experience and network from Nordic startup environment. Amongst other he co-founded one of the Nordic region's primary vertical ad network, AdProfit, and has been an advisor to Groupon's Swedish management team.
"We have known Carl for quite some time as an entrepreneur, and always been impressed by his industry insights, and as we chose to expand our team he felt like a perfect complementing team member," says Staffan Helgesson, Creandum general partner.
Prior to Carl's startup journeys he worked in management consulting for almost 4 years, giving him an attractive combined skillset of analytics and operational startup experience. Carl is also a Finalist of the venture network Society of Kauffman Fellows.
