Peter Partner, Berlin
Peter is one of the powerhouses of Creandum’s Berlin office. As Partner, he is responsible for discovering Europe’s most innovative startup companies and for strategically advising the fund’s portfolio companies on their international journey.
Peter is geographically focused on the DACH region and Western Europe, but his extensive network reaches far beyond: having spent part of his time at Creandum in our San Francisco office, Peter has developed a close network in the US and knows the challenges to expand to new markets and scale.
Data doesn’t lie. Be diligent in tracking the right data points and establish data driven decision making for your business early on.
Before Peter joined Creandum, he spent three years at Bain & Company where he was a core member of their private equity task force and worked with a number of projects ranging from commercial due diligence, to retail, to industrial goods, and software. Prior to that, he worked at Google with B2B marketing and did International Business Development for Rocket Internet’s companies Lazada (e-commerce, Thailand) and Paymill (payments, Germany).
Set the bar high for user-centric thinking and product design. We all love great engagement, retention metrics etc. but all of this is the result of a superior product experience. Start with that first.
Although proud of his Bavarian roots and his Lederhosen, Peter is always thriving to broaden his horizon: He has lived in ten different cities in Europe, US, South America and Asia. He holds a Bachelor degree from University of St. Gallen and a Master from ESADE in Barcelona. In his free time, he’s passionate about exploring the world and sports: No matter whether it’s kitesurfing, soccer, basketball, or table tennis, he’s always up for a challenge.
